At Leverage PR, we love talking about our innovative clients and the good work they are doing across a range of important fields. We often advise them to enter awards programs and assist with crafting winning submissions and many of them have been successful.

While we prefer promoting our clients, sometimes it is appropriate to also acknowledge our own success.

On Saturday, April 16, members of the Austin business community gathered to recognize the city’s up-and-coming leaders. Joy Schoffler, our fearless leader and principal of Leverage PR, was crowned the winner of the Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations category in the Austin Under 40 Awards.

The ceremony took place at the J.W. Marriot hotel, which is fittingly located just across the street from the downtown office where Joy started the company five years ago.

From over 600 applicants across 15 categories, Joy was chosen as a finalist because of her proven ability to spearhead PR efforts and lead a successful team while achieving consistently high results for her clients and community. We have continued to experience strong growth, all the while carving out a reputation as a respected global leader in public relations and trusted partner to innovators in the financial and medical technology and financial and professional services spheres.

In accepting the honor, Joy recognized the hard work of her team and other close stakeholders and confidantes, thanking them for their role in her momentous occasion.

She also made special note of our cherished clients and her gratitude for their ongoing and mutual support, and for inspiring our passion to help them succeed.

We are so proud of Joy and her efforts to lead our team and drive a truly client-centric culture. We hope it inspires other business people to be willing to put themselves forward and be recognized for talent, hard work and community involvement.
