Leigh Camp is a copywriter with over seven years of experience helping brands tell their story in a way that inspires prospects to become paying — and returning — customers.
Leigh comes to Leverage PR from Kasasa, a financial technology company that provides marketing services and FinTech products to community banks and credit unions nationwide. While with Kasasa, Leigh was a senior copywriter. Her role gave her the opportunity to write every type of FinTech marketing copy under the sun, including full websites for community financial institutions, traditional billboards, PPC ads, brochures, email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, and bylines for the CFO.
It was during her time with Kasasa that Leigh discovered her passion for FinTech. She is especially excited by the opportunities new financial technology is presenting to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and any individual with a big idea and a plan to make it happen. In that vein, Leigh takes a deep interest in banking industry trends and likes to keep her thumb on the pulse of FinTech hot topics. She passed all three of Kasasa’s proprietary banking certification exams with flying colors — and she watched “The Big Short” for fun.
Prior to her time at Kasasa, Leigh wrote SEO digital marketing content for Standing Dog Interactive, a Dallas-based advertising agency specializing in servicing clients in the hospitality and real estate industries. As a copywriter with Standing Dog, Leigh’s three largest accounts included Marriott, Greystar, and Capital Senior Living.
Leigh graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in English and a specialization in creative writing. She also holds a certificate in publishing from New York University School of Professional Studies.
