With so many places to go and people to see, SXSW is often one of the most exciting technology events of the year. This year it has become even more exciting– and not just because the President and First Lady will be headlining the event!

SXSW has added a whole new category of events geared toward the FinTech audience. From increased programing, to FinTech’s own track within the exclusive SXSW Accelerator Competition, and more cool fintech parties. SXSW Accelerator: Payment and FinTech Technologies

Sunday, March 13 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm

Eight companies within the Payment and FinTech Technologies category will dazzle a live audience, panel of three judges and co-emcees with their ideas, innovations, product and/or service on Saturday, March 12. Three of those eight companies will be asked to return on day two, Sunday, March 13, to present to a new group of co-emcees and judges. A grand prize winner for each category will be selected at the end of day two as part of the evening SXSW Accelerator Awards Ceremony.
